[TUTORIAL] How to install forestry for Tekkit.

Since I updated my own tekkit to the newest version my forestry didn't work anymore so you will need to install the good Forestry version so you will be able to join the Tekkit server.

1. Download the good Forestry client version here

2. Add a zzz_ to the name so it looks like zzz_forestry-1.4.8.6-mcpc1.2.5.zip

3. Then remove your old Forestry and place the one you just downloaded and renamed here:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher \tekkit\mods

4. Remove the Forestry stub files from Equivalent Exchange: Remove the EE2ClientV1.4.6.5.jar

I'm having trouble getting it to work D: whenever i install it into my mods it just stops tekkit working all together... And step 2 mentions both files however i only downloaded the one :P

put zzz_ infront of the name of the file of forestry and download the file from the link at my first post above

I do not have the newest version of forestry on the server as far as i know so yeah
And tekkit will crash if you do not add zzz_ infront of it.

Edit: I think it's the wrong link, when I DL it, the name wasn't forestry-1.4.8.6-mcpc1.2.5.zip but forestry-client-A-1.4.8.6_bc2.2.jar . I don't know if it's the same thing but I guess that my problem come from that.

I think it's a conflict between Forestry and zdimensionnal, but I can't remove it, I need it to join the server.

Move the EE away from the mods folder and move Forestry in while you are playing on LDT.

The reason for the ZZZ is that tekkit blocked forestry, or the other way around and by adding zzz you would avoid that. Tested it earlier and it wouldn't work for me without the zzz
